Support Tenovus cancer charity and sponsor a Spook
Published on October 9th, 2008

Jess Tilley, known to all you IMOC'ers as Spook, is making the huge sacrifice of chopping off her hair in aid of the cancer charity Tenovus.

One in three people will be affected by cancer at some stage in their life, and nearly everyone will be affected either directly or indirectly. Research is the key to finding answers to our questions about cancer. This makes donating to events such as this all the more important, as over 50% of non-commercial cancer research funding in the EU comes directly from charitable organisations.

A message from Jess:
"On the proposed date of the 2nd of November 2008 I will be chopping off my precious hair in aid of Tenovus! As sad as I will be to see this happen this is a fantastic charity and if it makes a nice little sum for the cause it will make it worthwhile..

So please donate now and make this worth my while, to those of you worried about me having short hair I promise you I will start growing it back immediately!

Please note I will not be shaving my head but I will be having it cut to shoulder length, the amount of hair I am cutting off has taken me over 3 years to grow and I will be very sad to loose it!

Thank you all in advance!"

Please be generous and make a donation at Jess' justgiving page:

All of us at Hi-on Maiden wish Jess the best of luck with her fundraising efforts, and hope she far exceeds her target of £200·00.
